It was then that Juliet was in her grave, fast asleep. She had
drank the potion that Friar Lawrence had given her. At the same time Romeo was
looking at the sky wondering wistfully what had happened to her lovely wife. Then
a crow appeared. A crow for them, was a sign of death. Romeo had thought that
it was her fine Juliet whom death had chosen. Romeo rushed to Verona and went straight to
Juliet’s room. Then he saw the Capulet family. Romeo told everything that had
happened to them from how they met to their wedding. He told the family that
Friar Lawrence had blessed them. Enraged with what happened Lord Capulet
dragged Romeo to the Friar. Friar told the family that he had blessed their
wedding because he had seen the loyalty and faith in each other’s eyes that
they would go out of their way just to be married, so they did. Then the Friar
told them that before the marriage of Paris and Juliet she went to him for
advice. Then, he told that Juliet would rather die than to marry Paris because
he has been wed to another man. So the Friar gave Juliet the potion that would
let her sleep for the time of the wedding. After Capulet had heard the whole
story, his thoughts were scrambled. He thought that the Montague house was a
vile and cruel family but after what their son had told them his thoughts and
ideas about the family changed. He ordered Romeo to call Lord and Lady Montague
and meet with Lord and Lady Capulet at Juliet’s grave. Then everyone had
gathered, Romeo knelt down on the grave and dug Juliet up. Then, he gave Juliet
a kiss in front of the two families. After the kiss, Juliet woke up just in
time. The Capulet house rejoiced seeing their one and only daughter wake up
from a death-like sleep. Still confused with what was happening Lord Montague
asked Lord Capulet what was happening. Then, Lord Capulet told what he had
heard from Romeo and the Friar. With what had Lord Montague had heard his thoughts
also changed. The two houses decided to hold a lavishing wedding ceremony to retake
their vows and say it in front of the two families. After the ceremony the
house where the two families were found was torn down to make a single house
where the two families had become one and Romeo and Juliet had been the Lord
and Lady of Verona.
